The Power of Femininity in Action.

Author George Orwell once said, “In a time of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act.” Not just revolutionary... sometimes dangerous to your health! With this in mind, here goes. The power of a woman to make or break a man is phenomenal! Better get this down ...and don’t forget it. From whatever angle you choose to look at it, the reality is undeniable. The influence of femininity, the heart of a woman set, fixed and focused on becoming all God designed her to be, all God promised she could be, is incredible. In every culture of every country, in every hour of every Age, the power she wields is enormous. And dangerous.

Eve has a God-given power {which means you have a God-given power, Sweetheart}, a God-ordained influence and ability to near single-handedly make or break her husband as a man. It’s a scary thought, is it not? There’s a Hebrew term used in Genesis 2:18, where for the first time in the unfolding account of Creation God say’s, “It is not good.” Not good for what? “For man to be …alone. So I will make [banah- ‘build’] him a Helper suitable for him.” This very specific word is eyzer, and eyzer is used of only two beings in all of Scripture: Eve and God. It means- a ‘suitable helper, a military assistance in times of desperate need,’ an adventurer and companion. This is what you were created to be; this is who you are.

You were made to live in your glory, and to “shine” as Paul said “like stars in the Universe” {Phil. 2:15c}. What does this mean? It means to be ‘luminaries, light-givers,’ to be women who bring light into the darkness of the lives around you. If you’re someone who takes light but doesn’t give it, if you’re someone who obscures light in others {a negative-minded defeatist, someone who finds fault with everyone around you}, if you tend to bring darkness instead of light, you’re waaayyy out of sync with the divine intent for femininity.

Now, here’s what you can do as a Woman among the Warriors. You can endue strength and courage and desire in your man, a willingness to sacrifice anything and everything for Faith and family, to find and fulfill his duty as a Warrior, as a King, and to ‘play the man,’ to be all God designed him to be. Or you can systematically dismantle every divinely good thing God has done in his life. By your words, your attitude, and your actions you can undermine everything you say you want from a man. This is the power of femininity in action, of femininity misused. That’s how deadly the power is you wield; and how dangerous it becomes when abused.

It is deadly and dangerous in the heart and mind of a woman who does not have her husband’s best interests {which is, in essence, her family’s best interest} constantly before her. Because if he succeeds in his role as husband, lover, father and protector, as Warrior, Prophet, Priest and King, then they can succeed in theirs. By his faithfulness to the role and responsibility God gave him, he provides the optimum opportunities for his wife and children to be what they need to be, to live out their lives as unto their Lord! You want to help him on this Journey, Ladies, not hinder him.
